Speech Therapy and Audiology
Maybuye Azania Speech Therapy and Audiology is a youth-owned speech therapy and audiology practice. Azania has a wealth of experience in the field having completed her Speech and Audiology degree in 2009 at the Medical University of South Africa (MEDUNSA).

She has worked for the Limpopo Department of Health, Ekurhuleni Health District and Gauteng Department of Education.
​
Azania is Accredited with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and is also in the Panel of Medico-legal Experts at the Road Accident Fund (RAF). Her practice is registered with the National Treasury Database (the Central Supplier Database) for government departments and is a B-BBEE Level 1 Contributor.

What I specialise in
• Offering Medico-legal Speech, Language and Hearing assessments as well as reports for adults and children.

• Conducting formal and informal assessments to determine the existence of the individual’s Speech, Language or swallowing difficulties.

• Provide Audiological assessments in order to identify hearing loss in clients that may have been at risk of acquiring an occupational hearing loss due to exposure to excessive loud noise or trauma to the head and ears during an injury at work or motor vehicle accident.
​
• Provide recommendations for Speech, Language therapy and Audiological treatment and the cost of this treatment. Determining the ability of an individual with speech, language and hearing difficulties to be a witness in court.
